REPORT
The fishery staff broke ice during the week to get some fishing on Willow, Little Gearys, Molands and Gearys with the anticipated thaw due at the weekend. Anglers fished Willow during the week and caught plenty of roach to 12oz, skimmers and the odd F1 carp with pole and red maggot fished full depth or 2 foot deep. Little Gearys was really hard in the open water and anglers found sport better as they broke holes in the ice. Roach and skimmers provided the best chance of action on there.
We hope that fishing will be available on most pools by next weekend with slightly milder temperatures forecast.
