hello fella’s, got a match this saturday on molands, what i need to know is the depth at around 12m, also does it respond to chopped worm & caster, i hear it has plenty of f1s, tench and bream, thanks in advance pete.

Depths of 5 to 7ft at 12m. I’ve never fished worm and caster on Molands. Pellet and paste work well.

As already stated, depths vary from 5ft at 12m in low numbered pegs, up to 8ft at 12m in the 50’s. Peg 52 is probably the deepest peg on the lake.

Chop worm & caster like anywhere, is a safe option, especially as the fishing is a little hard at the moment due to spawning fish. There is a big stock of silvers including plenty of tench, sso worm & caster could be the way to go.

Last weekend there was a 70lb of F1’s from peg 60, and all the pegs caught F1’s in the 50’s, yet yesterday peg 60 didn’t weigh, peg 58 caught F1’s and the other 50’s struggled. The fish are constantly moving which keeps the fishing exciting!

              Hope this helps.
