        REPORT

MOLANDS Molands has been in decent form this week with match weights to over 100lb and pleasure anglers catches exceeding that with late afternoon sessions best.. The carp, F1’s, skimmers and tench are coming close into the margins with baits such as dead maggot, caster, corn or worm fished over ground bait accounting for good nets. Method feeder tight to the island is also working well on some areas. Top pegs are 2 – 8, 10, 21, 27 – 31, 35, 43 – 46, 52, 55 and 60.

GEARYS The better catches are coming to pleasure anglers fishing on the surface with floaing pellet, bread or dog biscuit and anglers have caught bags of 25+ carp and fish to upper double figures on this.In matches margin tactics have been best fishing corn ,worm or maggots over groudbait for carp and skimmers. Top pegs have been 1, 9, 12, 18, 19, 27, 31 , 34 ,36 and 41

LITTLE GEARYS Wieghts are a little lower this week but little gearys remains the most consistent pool on the fishery.Pellet waggler, shallow pole and pellet and down the margins with meat and corn have all worked over the past few days.Top pegs are 5,7,10,13,17,24,27-29.

WILLOW Lots of smaller carp and F1’s are coming to the pellet feeder or method fished across to the island with polony, punched bread or pellet on the hook. Down the edges later in the day is seeing the better fish caught with fish into double figure taking corn or meat over ground bait.

SIBLINGS These new pools are gaining in popularity with match and pleasure anglers catching nets of mainly of carp in the 2 – 4lb range and bags to 70lb+. Pole fished pellet or corn is the best tactic with pegs 1 – 5 and 13 – 19 on Siblings A the best area.
