FISHING REPORT – WEEK ENDING 20/1/13
Last week there were 6 anglers caught 21 fish for an average of 3.5.
The lakes were mostly frozen through the past week but a few spots remained clear and the few anglers that fished caught well.
The best fish caught was an 8lb rainbow by Ray Inman of Birmingham who used a black and green Lure to tempt it along with another two at 5lb. Ray caught seven fish in total from a boat on Cocks Close. Chris Close of Birmingham caught five fish to 3lb on a Bloodworm pattern fished on a floating line and Andy Wilson also of Birmingham caught five on a Hot Tailed Viva Zonker fished on an intermediate line.
We advise anglers to ring before visiting the fishery during this bad weather.
