FISHING REPORT – WEEK ENDING 24/1/16
Last week 35 rods caught 100 fish for an average of 2.85.
Some of the days last week Cocks Close and Park Meadow were frozen but the early part of the week and at the weekend there were some good catches caught.
The biggest rainbow of the week was 7lb 8oz caught by Mike Beeson from Sutton Coldfield who was fishing from a boat on Cocks Close and a Booby was the successful fly. Harold Lewis from Knowle also fishing from a boat on Cocks Close had a 6lb 8oz rainbow on a black Nugget. Mr J Burton from Bedworth caught and released 13 fish to 7lb using Bloodworms from a boat on Cocks Close. Jack Dixon from Warwick caught his limit of five fish from a boat on Cocks Close using black and green Lures.
Top patterns this week are Cats Whisker, Bloodworm, Damsel, Minkies, black and green Lures and Boobies.
