The biggest rainbow of the week was a 12½ lb fish caught by Nick Howarth of Nuneaton who was fishing from a boat on Great Pool and took this along with five others on a small Buzzers fished on a floating line. Jonathan Preston of Solihull took an 11lb 8oz rainbow on a small black Buzzer whilst fishing from the bank of Cocks Close. Alan Wooldridge of Solihull caught five and returned a further six on small Skinny Buzzers whilst fishing from the bank of Cocks Close with the best fish going 5lb 8oz.
