I have a match on the hotel bank of Patshull Park Great lake next week. Has anyone any up to date information on methods, baits and recent form, all i know is it 15 to 20 feet deep and Bream will be the main species any help would be much appreciated.

plenty of worms and casters, some g-b and a few maggots. I fished it earlier this year, didn’t attack it enough, if i was going i’d take a kilo of worms and around 3-4 pints of casters. Pole can be worth a try but as you say it’s deeeeeeep!

get more worms mate, if you don’t use em they’ll keep…
i drew this bank on day one, did crap but if i went again i’d ball it on the pole, 6 or more at 10-11m. and big feeder taped up (deep) stuffed with worm and caster, go through the card and find out what they want, maggot will get you small fish, worm will get better fish and caster will get raped but you need to feed them. Pole is worth a look, but you need a big robust float and the confidence to fish that deep, good luck and let us know how you do!

like rob said worm caster .
start off on a big feeder first get sum bait down ..and plug your feeder with a fishmeal g.b and a bit of corn ..then change to a smaller one ..they are chucking abt 30 to 50 yards
