Peterborough summer angling show cancelled

I’ve had a message from Lee Apps to say that the Peterborough Summer Show is cancelled due to a number of exhibitors cancelling following a long, hard winter for the trade. He is going to look at it again for winter next year….

I called into my local shop at lunch time and he confirms the same, unsurprisingly.
They expect Jan Feb and March to be bad but April normally kicks things off, this year it hasnt.
May next week and its starting to feel like we wont get a summer again.
I just wonder how many shops can survive so would urge everyone to do their bit and support the trade.
