Have only fished there once – in a gale last year. But caught decent bream on a maggot feeder, fishing about 40 yards out in the South West corner.

It’s a big water and suprisingly shallow so I’m pretty sure the fish will follow the wind. Pellet/groundbait on the feeder works as well apparently but on the day I went it was maggot.

The heath is best fished from an area called the boards, its best accessed from the little road that leads between Sussex road, and Durford road I think.About a 40 yard chuck should put you on some bigger bream/carp.It lost a lot of fish last year so will take a while to come back.

A while back it was groundbait feeder, mixed with riddled coshida, and worm on the hook.

You might save money on the day ticket by joining Petersfield club, which is 60 odd quid a year. For that you get an out of date website they haven’t touched since last April.
