Pole finishing???

  Maybe a strange question but does anyone know what they use to put on pole butts/extensions once they have put graffix on? is it some type of varnish?? Im wanting to spruce my old pole up but was wondering if you use clear laquer surely it will get sticky when shipping out??~think Does anyone know what it is they use to stop this surely the graffix need sealing?? Cheers
