Posting pole sections

I am in the process of selling some pole sections on ebay and I’m wondering which is the best way of posting them.
Royal mail have a length restriction of 1.5 metres but the section I want to post is 1.76 metres.~think

Can anyone recommend an alternative handler with no silly restrictions and that don’t require a business account and will pick up from my house and make the whole process easy without charging the earth?

Parcel Monkey mate. Im sending sections all the time and they’re brilliant £10.50 for next day delivery!

DO NOT use parcel force, they are terrible! Broke 3 out of 8 sections i sent (separately).

I sent one section via parcel monkey without any problems, good price too. I have just sent another one and the price has almost doubled in the space of a week! Parcel monkey blame the courier (Citylink) who they say have increased the cost for long items.
Any more alternative agents that don’t use Citylink?

try interparcel mate online.they use different couriers.just sent a long with them via tnt overnite for £9.35 + vat.you can also add extra insurance

Just found the exact same thing Ommadown, such a shame as parcelmonkey was brillaint. Now i have to find another decent courier.
