Any views on these chaps pros and cons?
        Which is the best.
can you keep re-applying the marker and change colour?
        cheers

surely the bristle grease is just to give floats a tad more buoyancy and not for colour changes,

I have used the preston bristle grease for years and would not be without it on the canal, so often there is a need to apply a bit of grease to just keep the tip as a dimple.
The sensas marker pens are not for the same job, used for changing colours rather than to to grease the bristle.

bristle grease and markers are different mate the grease is used to hold the tip of you float up a little most comonly used on fine tiped floats in winter and on cannals and where a flaot need to be dotted down.
for changing float tip colour drennan sight sleaves are good

sorry chaps I do understand the differences!
Vaseline is just as good as the grease then, as thats what I use anyway.
As far as the markers are concerned, does it scratch off, or do you just mark over the top to change colours?
                Hope thats a bit clearer
                Cheers

yeah vaseline does the same, i was also wondering why they do a yellow and a red/orange and why not just do a clear?

i use it in bad light conditions lifts the float a little and also illuminates the tip a little to make it easier to see!

The senas bristle paint is great. Dries in a few seconds and scratches off easily with your nail or edge of scissors. I do most of my float bristles in permanent white paint and colour them on the day with the sensas paint.

Just add a tiny amount of atomic cloud in the colour of your choice to vaseline ;).
