Any Daiwa Tourney pro owners use these universal kits? Are they overly heavy compared to normal Daiwa power kits and do they affect the balance.

        Cheers

Not sure on the preston Pulla kits, but I know some people that use the milo pulla kits on their pro and G8 with no problems.

            Cheers mate,

Don’t suppose you know anywhere that sells them and what the prices are like.

Milo Strippa Kits, don’t alter the pole at all & are a good fit.
Watch out for them filling up with water though,if your like me & put the tip under the water, you will end up very wet!

No i don’t think so the Maver no4 will be too wide. Unless they do a universal type one that can be cut back.

I know the Map TKS kits fit the Maver competition poles spot on. Their power kits are only £30 so it could be worth buying them and drilling them yourself.

I’d just buy a universal puller kit (preston one) for 44 ~think

ive used them and think they are strong yet still; very light and dont affect poles balance imo

                          Milo stripper kits are excellent.

Why not get your sections wrapped and then fit the bushes yourself ~think ~think it’s cheaper than buying new kits ~think ~think

I did think about having them drilled but not sure on expensive match kits.

there are two milo pulla kits one sells for around £60 the second one sells for around £40 both fit the daiwa tourny/g8 range perfectly, team mate Alan Dove has just ordered two of the £40 milo pulla kits as simon willesmore told him there is only a tad difference in weight, both are well up to the job even taking red hydro no problemo, I believe fosters of birmingham are selling the new tourny pro x and are supplying 4 free milo pulla kits with each pole sold I have been informed these are the £40 kits, however simon only has 20 coming in to the country of the cheaper kits so if you order you may have to wait, unless you get in quick.

I’ve had my Pro top kits and my Airity top kits done by Scott at esselle and they have been fine, Scott did a fantastic job and the cost at the time was about a tenner per top kit.

                                    Cheers lads

Lots of useful info there.I’ve got my existing kits fitted with preston pulla bungs, think I’ll try the milo kits and see how they compare weight wise before having them drilled (professionaly)
