Yeh, I’ve been using them for a few years – there good.
I have found that a squirt of WD40 on them now and again keeps them in tip top working order.
I have had one break on a landing net handle previously – this was a big problem at that time as i could not remove the end from the landing net (screwed in tight). I carry a small spanner and keep it in the car just in case.

make sure that they’re the genuine pro-logic connectors.there are a few poor quality one’s about which lock-up and also ruin bank sticks, keepnets and landing nets. 🙁 🙁

Didn’t last long on my landing net so i do without now but find them ok on my keepnets.

used them for years – no probs- just make sure you use grease before tou put them on- otherwise you might find it very hard to replace – probably every 3 years

I used them for a while until one snapped off in such a way that I couldn’t ge the remains out. Fortunately, it was on a short tipper section and I was able to replace it more cheaply than replacing the entire handle. Won’t do it again, as they’re not really intended to take that kind of load (maybe I catch too many big fish!)

Definitely very reliable if you buy the legit ones, there’s a bunch of copies using inferior alloys and they will let you down.

Have used them continuously for the last seven years without any problems and have landed carp to 15lb with no problems.

The reason the female adapter might stick in the threaded part of your landing net handle is that the two different metals will react to each other and form an oxide that then binds in the threads. Use a small amount of moly grease or similar and this problem will be avoided.

There were three sizes made at one time with the middle and large one suitable for keepnets and landing nets, the small for pole sock heads and the like.

I wouldn’t trust them on a landing net, use em on my Keepnets though.

Never ever EVER had a problem with them on a landing net head, myself and my two lads have used them virtually every week for at least the last seven years.

I guess it’s a confidence thing the same way some will trust 08 bottoms all year round. 😉
