Fishing has been increasingly rewarding for boat anglers who have persevered until later in the day. Most afternoons have seen some challenging fishing. Highlight of the week at Ravensthorpe was the Bob Church Trophy match with 14 boats accounting for 66 fish.
Cats whiskers and minkies fished slowly on static around the margins are amongst the best methods.
The pike season is now in full swing and it can’t be long before Ravensthorpe gives up one of its legendary monsters.
