        Hi All
I am the Secretary of a large angling association that owns a large reservoir that exceeds 25,000 cubic meters and as such is governed by the recent changes to the Reserviors Act. I would be interested to learn if any forum users is a member of an angling association that also owns or as a lease on a similar or larger reservoir.
If you would like to contact me direct then you can email me on [email protected].
        Thanks
        Kenny Baxter

              Hi Guys
              Thanks for the responses
              Geepster
The Angling Trust via Fish Legal issued new guidance notes last summer. There are serious implications for angling bodies that do not conform to the revised act that came into force September 2013.
Paddy, if you private message me with your contact details I will give you a ring
              Thanks again guys

Not sure if this relates to statutory inspection of dam heads?
After the incident at Hulley res in Rotherham some years ago. The overflow channel became damaged and structurally weakened the dam head. This threatened nearby homes with flooding if it breached. New regulations were put in place demanding civil engineers inspection reports on a set frequency basis. Fortunately for our club we were just under the limit but are miles from any residents too.
