Respraying a rive frame

I have an old rive station frame which I want to sand down the old paint and respray black.

What is the best way to do it and what pant is best?

I’ve had my Rive stripped down this past few weeks and masked up. Just put the first layer of primer on today so ill let you know if it works out.

is your Rive Steel or Aluminum?

If it’s aluminum then you will need an etchant primer or all your hard work will flake off.

I would look for a powder coating far more resilient, and more costly, but hey this is a Rive afterall…
