Well what can i say, this venue did not fish well at all. I fished with a bodied waggler, hitting the far side with a single red maggot. This netted me a weight of 1lb 12oz’s. To my suprise this netted me my first win. On this streach the water is 14ft deep, slow and today was crystal clear. To make matters worse the guys in the boat yard opposite my peg. had a new boat which they made no less than 12 trips up and down the river and made 6, 5 point turns in my swim. At the time i was not impressed but as it turned out i had a good result in the end.
