Ringstead Catch Report To March 12th, 2012
week 5/3/12 to 11/3/12
Overview
The colder weather at the earlier part of this week kept anglers away but on Friday and at the weekend when the weather warmed up good catches were recorded. Many fish between 3 and 4lbs were caught and limit bags are still weighing in between 14 and 16lbs.Some of the larger double figure fish have been hooked but have eludedcapture due to their excellent fighting qualities.
As the weather is warming up fish are now feeding on the natural insect life in the water and many fish caught over the last few days have been taken on buzzer nymph patterns.
54 anglers caught 180 fish with 50 being safely returned
Best Areas:Bank-Lodge ,Willow Bay,Caravan Corner,Addington Road
Boat-Lodge Frontage,Willow Bay,Addington Road Frontage.

Prospects for the week ahead look excellent as the weather warms up and with stocking continuing on a weekly basis anglers should enjoy some very good sport from bank and boat.
