Best fish this week-Bill Callaway of Bedfordshire Rainbow 7lb 0oz JC/Diawl Bach

The clarity of the water has improved this week and fishing continues to improve following the heavy rainfall over the last few weeks.Damsel hatches have been abundant and good catches have been had on damsel nymph patterns,GRHE,PTN and Diawl Bach.
Mr Macwilliams/Mr James of Cambridge were the exception when they caught 22 rainbows from the boat mostly on a Cats Whisker.
Season ticket holder Bill Callaway has been successful on a number of occasions this week with the best day achieving 8 rainbows up to 7lb on a Diawl Bach[JC] all of which were safely returned.Plenty of fish from 2lb-4lb featuring in catches.Boats have been the most successful although fish have been seen closer in the margins on some days.
Prospects for the week ahead remain very good with the weather settling and fish moving on the surface.Weekly stocking continues.
