Another miserable week weather wise at Ringstead Grange, rather hard fishing but after stocking well the first part of the week things have been picking up again with some decent catches including:
Nigel Cheetham (Oundle) caught a 4 1/2 rainbow (photo attached) plus a full limit bag.
Simon Fielding (Quatamala) caught a nice brownie at 3lbs 1/4
Richard Parnell (Doddington) caught a 4 1/2 rainbow
David Fellows (Market Harborough) caught 3 good fish
Ray Tulley (Raunds) caught a nice brace.
Congratulations to 6 year old Stiazu Franklin (Wellingborough) who caught this first trout weighing in at 2lbs 4ozs.

Boats – The Deeps, Caravan Corner, Lodge Front and the Channel
Bank – The Deeps, Lodge Front and Caravan Corner
Best Flies:
Boats – Shipmans, Blue & Black Damsel, Black Hoppers and Daddy Long Legs
Bank – Black & green Montana and Daddy Long legs
Improvements are still on going with channels being put through to the more productive bomb holes. Trees are being cut back to prevent
anglers getting hooked up.
