Fishing is still good at Ringstead Grange. Anglers are pleased to hear and see that the weed is under control and that the cutter and lifter are still in operation.

A good amount of quality fish have been delivered these last few days.

Nigel Cheatham (Oundle) caught 9 ranging from 2 1/2lb to 3 3/4 lb each.

David Haslie (Ravensthorpe) had his limit of 5, largest was 3 1/2 and the rest 2 1/2 a piece.

John Marshall (Cambridge) on an evening ticket caught a lovely specimen at 3 1/2lb.

Rob Partridge (Suffolk) had the largest fish of the week weighing just over the 4 lb mark, plus 2 at 3lb a piece.

Mr Robbins, 80+ years old (Northampton) went home happy after catching a super Brown Trout which weighed 3lb, which was returned to the lake.

Jill Day (Rushden) went home happy with her first ever caught trout. One weighing 2lb and the other 3lb. (photo attached)

Top flies of the week: Montana, Hares Ear, Buzzers, Damsels and Diawl Back.

Best Areas for Boats: The Deeps and Willow Bay Corner (Addington Road).

For Bank anglers: Lodge Bank and Sandbank.
