extreme weather conditions on the lake early week have made fishing very difficult due to the harsh winds but despite the rain and snow over the weekend fishing has been quite producive..
Just to remind all thee grand opening is the 16th February and the lakes last day is February 11th please get your boats booked now to avoid disappointment.
Pike season is still going strong and we were very humbled to have the ocean kayak UK fishing team visiting the lake this weekend a late night whiskey and a bacon roll on the water we clearly the order of the day , no big girls showed but a few jack’s were caught and a lovely brownie by Dane wood from the deeper water , picture including, our bailiff pete was also given the opportunity to take one of the kayaks out as glen wimped out for a few hours and have go which he fully enjoyed catching a little jack as Aswell

Best areas boats and banks willow bay Addington road ,front lodge ,
Best flies green and black damsel nimph, pitsford peas , orange fabs , wooley warrior, bloodworm .
Water is currently 2.7 degrees and intermediate or sinking lines is highly recommend.
