Ringstead saw less anglers this last week due to either very wet or colder weather towards the end of the week.
Daff Jones (Desborough) caught a 4lbs 2oz Rainbow trout
Nigel Cheatham (Oundle) caught a 3lbs Brownie
Best Pike of the weekend weighed in at 15lbs caught by Martin Wright (Northampton) (picture attached)
Best Flies:
Blobs, Damsels, Cats Whisker and Buzzers
Best Areas:
Bank – Willow bay, Caravan Corner and Mill End
Boat – The deeps and Addington Road
Ringstead Grange will be closed on the last day of November, but are still doing pike fishing every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through to the end of December. These 3 days can also be offered to fly fishermen for trout fishing.
Prices are the same as last year, £10 per angler (Bank) and £20 (Boats) for 1 angler. Boat for 2 is £30.
Dead baits and lures only. Lures must over 6 inches in length. No lives bait or spinners allowed.
