Ringstead’s George Foster, caught the largest fish of the week weighing in at 4lb 2oz from a boat. The 14 year old landed it safely after it put up a good fight.

Good quality fish are still being caught with weed cutting and lifting still on going.

Simon Fielding (Bedford) 3 @ 3lb a piece.
Steve Marchant (Raunds) 5 @ 3lb each and releasing 9 others.
Richard Salt (Northampton) enjoyed his days catch of 3.
David Barker (Luton) 3 @ 3.5lb each.
Best Area for boats are: The Deeps and Addington Road.
Best Flies: Buzzers, Damsels and Blobs.
Although the weather has been hot and humid, the lake has been fishing well.
