        Ringstead Grange April 18th – 24th

        73 anglers caught 358 fish

        Best Fish
        11lb 3oz John Birch, Desborough, shrimp. This is the biggest fish of the season so far and taken from a boat anchored off the sandbank.

        Best Areas
        willows, sandbank

        Best Patterns
        black buzzer, brown buzzer, damsel, tequila blob

        During the day an intermediate line with slow retrieve is best. Floating line in evening.

        Another good week with numerous limits. Best method is buzzers on a floating line with a slow figure of eight retrieve

        The Troutmasters fish-off was won by Gwyn Jones from Leighton Buzzard with 6 fish for 15lb 8oz inc time bonus.
