        Finally the weather is behind us now with things starting to warm up, bringing the fish out of the deeper water and into the shallower areas of the lake. This is making fishing consitant throughout the front areas of the lake.

        Maintenance is already underway and our bailliff Pete sends his kind regards to Jim Foster, Adam and George for the hard work opening up the backcast areas on the caravan and sand bank. These swims all have a new dimension.
        A full GPS map of the lake is available at the Lodge, to help anglers locate all the lakes wonderful features and holes.

        Best Catches to go:
        Gene Robinson (Raunds) caught 15 fish 2-3lb
        Matt Curtis (Burton Latimer) caught 15 fish 2-3lb
        Kelvon Burton (Burton Latimer) caught 15 fish 2-3lb
        Nigel Cheetham (Oundle) caught 10 fish 2-3.5lb, plus a 5lbs beauty.
        Richard Franklin (Corby) caught 6 fish 2- 3lb
        Mr Gardner (Cambridge) caught 7 fish 2-3lb
        Ian Ashwell (Daventry) caught five fish 2-3.5 lb

        Best Areas for Bank and Boat:
        Sandbank, Caravan Corner, Front Lodge and Willow Bay

        Best Flies for Boat and Boat:
        Blue Flash Damsel, Black Buzzer, White Cheek, Fabs, Pitsford Pea, Wooley Warrior, Hares Ear and Cats Whisker

        Stocking will take place mid week
