Ringstead Grange 25/4/2016
Unfortunately, due to weather, conditions being Bright with easterly winds the fish were unresponsive at the beginning of the week but sport has improved and it is fishing well. We our now seeing prodigious olive hatches and some large sized buzzers coming off the water.
On Wednesday, the fishery hosted our annual charity event run by the MTSFC for special educational needs children. We had fine weather and a lovely day here for the children nine trout were caught the biggest being seven and a quarter pounder. They also got see a stocking of large trout from the Guash Trout Farm, which got everyone, excited. Included in this stocking is another tagged fish making five tagged fish over ten pounds in the fishery. As of Tuesday evening, the total in the jackpot was £692 and it is well over £700 pounds now.
The fish are showing over the most of the fishery now, with superb buzzer fishing opportunities, however time for the dry fly methinks, olives or suspender buzzers you decide.
