Ringstead Grange Trout Fishing April 7th

Fishing still excellent at Ringstead Grange with good catches being caught from both boats and bank.

Stocking will take place again this week .

Paul Shepherd from Bedford caught the largest fish of the week weighing in at 7lb (as attached).

Nick Wright from Northampton had a beauty at just under 5lb.

Those who also had their limits were Dave Hemmings from March, brothers, Dave and Roy Barker from Dunstable went away delighted with a full bag each.

John Thelwell from Ringstead was pleased with his day, also Mike Webberley had his limit.

Graham Herridge from Peterborough was another happy customer.

Best flies: Buzzers, Orange blob, Montana & Gold head Damsel.

Best areas: Willow Bay and Lodge Bank

Kieran Conlon from Cork lost a similar fish at the net with Denis in the Island Stream after about 6/7 minutes – he could even see the sea-lice on its back,
& lost another after about a minute on the Hut Pool on Upper Kilmurry. They saw at least half a dozen fish moving through.
