Ringstead Grange Trout Fishing August 26th, 2013
With the cooler weather this week, Ringstead Grange has had some lovely conditioned fish of 3lbs. The float tube association visited us on Saturday, and were thrilled with their day when all members were either catching their limit or taking fish home.
Mr Russel from Leicester and Mr Mayes from Manchester did well but the over all winner was Mr Dunnet from Chestfield.
Other regulars also caught well including Bob Symes and Mark Kelly from Corby and Neville Silver from Godmanchester, Mr Bennett from Stockport and Mr Bob McWilliams from Northampton all caught their limit.
Boats are still the best option, bank anglers are finding it hard.
Best flies for the week: buzzer, pheasant tail and damsel
