This last week at Ringstead has been a great success with more rods than usual.
The boats are doing better than bank fishing and the average is 4 per rod.
Phil Villette from Kettering had a full bag and the largest weighing in at 6lbs. (Photo 824 attached).
John Roast from Sharnbrook was happy with his bag, the largest at 4lbs.
Nick Wright and Barry Hall from Northampton both had their limits weighing 14lbs each.
Michael Daymond from Oakham and his boat partner, Peter Bax, both had five a piece weight 15lbs each bag.
Best Flies:
Blood worm, Dawl back, Buzzer, Daddy long legs, Orange blobs.
Best Areas:
Sand bank & Deeps.
The tagged fish has still to be caught and the kitty is building up, so come and try your luck.
John, the Bailiff, has been working hard on the weed cutting and lifting with success and will continue to do so.
It is nice to see new faces and old customers who have stayed with us over many years.
Stocking has been heavy with many fish weighing into double figures.
A Junior Day is arranged for 9th August from the bank.
