Ringstead is happy to report that fishing has greatly improved this last week.
Ken Clayton from Market Deeping, caught the largest fish at 3lb, plus 3 at 2lbs each.
Dave Boden from Rushden, 5 at 2lb a piece.
Nigel Cheatham from Oundle, 7 at 2lb a piece (all released).
John Scott from Ringstead, 5 for 12lbs.
Bill Callaway from Bedford, 3 at 2 1/2 a piece.
Nick Wright from Northampton, 1 at 21/2lb plus 4 released.
Barry Hall from Wellingborough, 3 for 6lbs plus 3 released.
Dave Strudwick from Burton Latimer, 3 at 2 1/4 pounds and also released 6 lovely trout.
Gene Robinson a regular, from Raunds, had a couple of brace of good quality fish.
Best Flies:
Blue Damsel, Orange Blob, Minky and Cats Whisker.
Best Areas:
Willow Bay, Caravan Corner, Lodge Front and Addington Road.
