        Overview
The weather conditions have featured strongly on the number of anglers who have ventured out this week.Again though those that did were rewarded with some exciting sport with plenty of rainbows and browns falling to mainly buzzer patterns. The fish have been up in the water and those fishing floating lines with buzzers and hoppers have been the most successful.
Lake olives and hawthorn flies have again been in abundance in all areas of the lake but mainly on the Addington Road sheltered from the cold winds.
The pick of the best fish again this week was by Andy Babanowski of Northampton with a beautiful grown on rainbow of 12lb and with some lovely browns up to 4lb/5lb to other anglers providing some memorable outings.Bank anglers are now taking plenty of fish on good days as fish move closer into the margins.
The prospects for the week ahead remain better with the promise of some warmer weather.
Successful methods still remain with floating lines and a team of black or olive buzzers, diawl bach or hares ear.

68 anglers caught 231 rainbows and 8 browns with 110 rainbows and 7 browns returned safely
