:Martyn Turner Houghton Conquest Rainbow 5lb 12oz
:Mr Slater Peterborough Rainbow 4lb 12oz
        :David Boden Rainbow 4lb 8oz
Best Bag: Martyn Turner 5 fish for 17lb

Some excellent catches this weekas weather conditions improve and warmer conditions brought the onset of some good hatches of buzzers and a few olives.Best patterns have varied from buzzers to boobys but Montana patterns have clearly been the best of the week by far.
Pick of the bank anglers has been Ray Steels from Peterborough who took 11 rainbows on Montana with all being released.Nick Wright from Northampton again caught well with 9 rainbows on Cats Whisker pattern.
Boat angler and season ticket holder Steve Dutton with boat partner B Cook caught 12 rainbows on white booby pattern.Martyn Turner from Houghton Conquest Bedford fishing a Montana and large black buzzers on an intermediate line towards the sandbank took 5 rainbows in quick time to 5lb 12oz in his bag weighing in at 17lb.
Best tactics -intermediate or floating line with long leader with buzzers/small lures. The fish are still in deep water but they should now start to move up in the water as the warmer weather continues this week.
Prospects excellent with continual weekly stocking.

        Water clarity-good
