River Don Sprotborough

I am on the River Don at Sprotborough at the weekend and i haven’t been on there for years. What’s the best approach and what is needed. Rig sizes, depths, groundbait and feeding advice most appreciated

tommo n , i fished it a couple of weeks ago below the iron bridge and it did not fish that well 12lb won our match with hemp and caster using the pole i drew peg 8 and fished with hemp and tares ended up with 7lb 12oz no barbel were caught be they have been around so take some meat and small halibut pellets
