TF_KatarinoChild Beale is fishing garbage at present, very patchy even in known hot areas although there are some signs of improvement.
The best bet for skimmers on the feeder is third field downstream of Wallingford Town Bridge on the Jolly Anglers water. I think you can fish it on a day ticket, but check first. Us (Twyford Valley) and Jolly Anglers have been having some nice matches on it, no massive weights winning and but between 14-19lb seems to be norm if you get it right, nearly all hand sized skimmers. If you’re practicing they are there for the feeder but you’ll actually catch better on the wag…. beware the bleak though.

TF_jwbBottom end of Medley?
Need a day ticket which you can get from Fat Phils in the Abingdon road.
Park at binsey and walk down the road, around 200m, fish the 1 peg through the gate opposite the bay, fish around 2/3rds across for skimmers, bream and hybrids.~clap -

TF_allyParticipantDont you live right by a tidal river. In fact you live by several. If you try a bit of bacon as bait the crabs will give you a bit of practice for the basys crays. Two birds with one stone and all that. See what good advice you can get from your new team mates. X X

You want us to come and bait your hook too?
Wallingford is only about 10 minutes from Child Beale and JWB knows Medley like the back of his hand, if he says you’ll catch you will catch. If that is too far for you the pegs by the mouth of the Kennett are usually a cert for good bags of skimmers. Tony Tibble at Reading Angling Centre or Angie at Thames Valley Angling will put you right, it’s free fishing as well.
Rushey Weir (Day Ticket) might also fit bill although the ‘skimmers’ tend to be a bit big and it is a long chuck.

many thanks DaveHead for the Perch pub restaurant in Binsey. Park by the gate before the pub on the right, walk down the concrete farmers track and fish at the first swim you come to . Take some hemp and tares.

No Fat Phil does not open on a Sunday.
Medley is invariably booked out every sunday anyway. We have a open on there this sunday.
If you want to fish the feeder and not walk to far then like Simon said park by the pub in Binsey walk down the lane and turn left at the bottom and fish the peg immeadiately through the broken gate.
Pegs about 50 yards further up are mega roach pegs on either pole or waggler. -
