security glitch in new forums~naughty

you have a list of all the members with all there emails

a simple password cracker could easily go through each name and look for simple passes like:
fish
cod
bass
then if the hacker was so inclined he would try the pass he cracked it with with the email

(if your dumb enough to have such a crackable password then chances are your going to use the pass for all your online activties)
then get onto email then send a forgotten my password to paypal and oops uv had your paypal stolen ~hand

unless its been changed u cant see there email anymore mind you u can still email em

and you do realise the link which should say match fishing actually says fly fishing

which is far better then match fishing to be fair but hey

yes we know ,along time ago it was decided that because the fly section wasn’t really being used & it could better be utilised ,so it was voted on and changed to match fishing on the forums view but it remained fly section on the database (technical glitch) unseen by members likewise the old carp forum was renamed “BIG FISH” forum on the old system ,and with the change over ( the old data base ) things have reverted to the origanal format and we’re going too see how it goes for now ! if things need changing then it can wait till next year ! got a few minor teething problems too iron out first .but buy & large everything has gone really well no major catastrophes and everyones still alive ,so the jobs a good un
