TF_Nigel.Pick a good team and draw well Gareth, lol.
I had myself, Pete Baily, Matt Hall, Callum Dicks and Steve Perham in my team.
Callum drew Molands 46 yesterday, wrong end peg on the best section, if he had been 1 peg to his right, he would have won his section, and we would have won the match!~clap -

AnonymousYour right there Nigel, that peg 45 on Molands is a awesome peg..I drew it twice last year in the open matches and won off it both times..The first time was with 40 lb of skimmers and the second time was with 75 lb of carp..I think you can call it a proper flyer..lol.

TF_JMCLincolnDamian Green Spro
Which team ??
-
22/03/2010 at 6:03 pm #99556
TF_Nigel.Absoloutly right, Matt was on peg 45, and did come 3rd. I should have said Callum ‘could’ of won his section from that peg, but even if had been 3rd, it would have been enough for us. (we would have had 5 less points)
But we can all say ‘IF’, lol.

TF_Nigel.Sorry, Spro, is the team name.

TF_barnsleybornParticipantThink every team in the top 10 has a could have/should have story to qualify, it was so close.
I was 5 grams off getting Barnsley to France, can’t get any closer than that. Second day i tied with Martin Green for tied 1st in the section with 8kg if i had 5g more we would have tied with his team and gone through on weight.
Absolutly gutted.
But big thankyou to all the guys involved with the match all ran well. -

What a match!! I think that is one of the best team matches I have ever taken part in as you say everbody has their own story to tell about how close it was.
I thought you was miles ahead of me even with clawing a few fish back in that last 30 minutes I had you down for the lake win, so unlucky mate you fished really well.
Well done to Mark Downes for excellent organisation of the weekend and also the lads at Packington. What a superb fishery! I also thought the atmosphere on the bank was spot on with everyone having a bit of banter even though its probably one of the biggest team matches left on the circuit now.
