sensas top kits and side pullers

  does anyone no if the maver powerlite top kits will fit a sensas 884 or any other top kits with side puller slot i want to use the maver easy flow cone bung but the map kits have the banding to far up the section for it to work

  absolutely nothing i expect,but i like the maver easy flow cone one thats why i asked if anyone new whether the maver power lite kits will fit my sensas pole,or do you no if the maver efc will work on the sensas top kit, as on the map ones the band is to far up and the extractor rod is not long enough plus you need to cut the cone right down.

  I got some Sensas side pullers with my 874 rather than the standard UK power kits – still can’t make my mind up to be honest over the standard kits with puller bungs. I’ve not tried any other top kits with any of my Sensas poles to be honest, with so many top kits as standard I’ve never had reason to buy any more. I have thought of having some standard ones converted to side pullers with the new Preston wheel gizmo as these look really smooth.

  I fish some places that are top 4 deep so need the side puller,i like the look of the preston roller but not the thought of messing after drilling the hole the part when you have to widen it,the maver efc is brilliant and very easy to install,could you tell me how far up the sensas kit the slot is please.

  I will measure them when I get home tonight. An alternative for you could be to get someone to install the Preston rollers to the existing power kits? I know Danny Sixsmith does this and the standard of his work is incredible – he has just put a wrap on my dinked number 6 of my 774 and he’s even matched the wrap of the carbon.

  The side slot on the Sensas side puller kits starts 13 inches from the bottom of the section.

  Think the maver and map are the same bore , tbh if you use the maver kits you will still have to cut down the cone bung as I did on my maver slotted kits . Why not extend the rod to fit the map kits
