        2nd Phil Carline Subfish, peg 54, 56-8-0
        3rd Norman Powers Sherwood Forest Fishery peg 49, 56-0-0
        4th Colin Perry Sensas Mansfield peg 36, 40-12-0
        5th Craig Brazier Sherwood Forest Fishery peg 19, 38-14-0

        A very tight battle between the top three Carl Brown coming out on top fishing the pole and pellet out at 14m after a slow start he soon had the fish lining up landing 20 carp – 6lb and a dozen roach – 12oz. Phil Carline in second place was just one fish short of the winning post also landing carp – 6lb on the pole and pellet, and in third spot Norman caught carp – 8lb early in the match on ledgered popped up bread disks struggled in the last half of the match watching his lead go down to 3rd place.

        There were only three anglers left to weigh in at the end of the match because of the very strong winds and monsoon rain, but it was Andy Lakey in top spot fishing a small pellet feeder cast to the island he landed 5 carp, 1bream and a chub for 22lb 1oz

        Fred fished the waggler and maggot cast 30m out for roach and skimmers -12oz and landing 2 bream – 4lb late in the match that put him into top spot over his travelling mate John Holmes fishing the pole and maggot over ground bait for 12lb 12oz of skimmers – 1lb
