Craig drew peg 21 on the corner of the big bay, fishing the pole on two lines out at 12m and down the margin both with luncheon meat over pellets he had 17 carp – 8lb weighing a total of 82lb 4oz he said after the match he would have weighed over the ton if he hadn’t wasted an hour and half bite less on the method feeder. 2nd and 3rd placed anglers both caught on the pole and paste with Roy weighing 67lb 4oz having 14 carp – 9lb and Rob weighing 66lb 7oz made up of 21 carp – 8lb

Pete drew peg 45 on the road side and with the wind blowing hard he fished the pole at 5m with pellet on the hook and feeding heavy with pellets he caught carp from the off landing fish – 6lb with the exception of one bonus fish weighing 12lb finishing just short of the ton with 95lb 8oz. 2nd placed Ian Rowney fished both the pellet method feeder cast to the submerged island and the pole with corn and pellet hook bait he also caught all match landing carp – 8lb.
