Wayne drew peg 39 on the road side and fished the pole and 6mm banded pellet out on 3 lines feeding six mills over the top taking a fish off each line he landed carp – 8lb finishing with the only ton of the day 119lb 15oz and an extra ton for drawing the golden peg.

Schools out and the area’s top juniors take on the venue regulars and it was 13year old Josh Paling that came out in top spot, drawn on the end peg on the day peg 8 he fished the pole and caster out on two lines at 13m he landed a steady stream of roach, skimmers and Ide – 2lb and putting a winning weight of 38lb 9oz on the scales. In 2nd place venue regular also fished the pole and caster for 32lb of silvers.
