The pellet method feeder again came out tops with the first three placed anglers using it, Norman Powers drew peg 36 and fish it tight to the island with pellet hook bait he caught carp – 4lb steady all match to finish with a creditable 69lb 9oz. John in 2nd cast his method feeder and meat to the old lily bed at peg 24 landing carp – 6lb but finishing short with 51lb 15oz. 3rd this week and 3rd last week from the same peg Mick Smith improved his weight, weighing in 49lb 14oz

Alternating between the method feeder cast to the lily bed and pole fished at 12m both with corn kept Kristian in touch with the fish, landing 16 carp – 7lb steady all match he put 70lb 5oz on the scales. 2nd placed Andy Lakey had 20lb of stocky carp before landing 9 bigger carp – 9lb all caught on the pole and pellet.

Lee Fished the pole and pellet on two lines at 14m on peg 56 catching all match he landed 16lb of skimmers – 1lb and 33lb of carp with the biggest going 3lb weighing a total of 49lb 3oz. In 2nd place making the most of the end peg draw Dave Round fished pole and caster for 25lb of Ide and Tench with the rest of his catch made up of carp – 4lb, finishing nearly 10lb behind with 39lb 11oz. 3rd placed John Woodland fished the pole and caster on his top 3 kit and weighed 38lb 6oz of roach and ide – 12oz.

Norman Powers is on top form at the moment and drawing all the best pegs, this time he was on peg 34 and cast his Pellet method feeder and corn to the spinner he landed 23 carp – 5lb most of which came in the last half of the match.
