Shimano is stepping in to sponsor an open shore match taking place along the rivers Wear, Tyne and Blyth in north east England on December 14th, 2008.
Anglers can fish from the south bank of the Blyth to the north bank of the Wear and both banks of the Tyne. All beaches, rocks and piers along these lengths can be fished.
Tickets are available from tackle shops in the area, but you can enter on the day as well from 7.30 am at the Ouseburn Regeneration Centre on Newcastle Quayside.
There are actually no special Junior or Ladies prizes in this event because both classes are eligible for the main prizes in this Penn Points event.
