        I am considering buying a 13ft heavy Speedmaster rod. Would I be getting a lot more rod if I went for the Aerocast heavy feeder rod at 14ft? I would primarily be using this rod for bream/skimmer fishing at distance and on the odd occasion carp at distance on the method.

        Also does anyone know what difference/advantage the multi-length rods provide?
