Defiantely a tdr3012 and there cheaper than the stradic, you can pick them up for £110 now.

I have stradics and TDR’s and to be honest, really like both types of reels. You say in the title Stradic or TDX and although I like the TDX’s I don’t think they are nearly £100 better than a TDR.

I would opt for 2 x Stradics for the price of a TDX for any day!!

i’d say a closer call would be tdx or twinpower fc.
i can’t for the life of me think why shimano make the stradic in storm trooper white?
if they were grey or black i’m sure they’d sell twice as many.

ive recently upgraded my old daiwa capricorns (awsome) for 2 new tdxs not been out with them yet but they feel nice sat twiddling handles on sofa ~sick

kev im posting for my dad as he wants a new reel, you know what a tackle tart he is.
Ill mek do with my passed down shimano supermatch and hopefully give him a good hiding of the next peg this year while hes using is shiney new reel lol.

Luke it was changed to last thursday but i did`nt wanna ring you with everything thats been happening ……

Tell your dad he`s a tart and buying a TDX won`t catch him more fish i mean that torney pros wasted on him lol….

You will have to get on winter league next year proper fishing with 0.08 rigs,first match is 28th march at maynes lake hinckley…..

CFC = compact body size
SFC= shallow spool
gtm is rear drag
fc is front drag
