For me it has to be the Drennan Matchpro Ultralight.

These are with without doubt (in my opinion) the best range of silverfish waggler rods you can buy. Very light with a soft tip and responsive blank. I have 4 in various lengths!!

              Available in 11-15ft models.

Drennan finesse im9 13ft. Supersoft tip middle actioned just perfect for lines down to 0.08 and floats up to 6gms. The drennan ultralites are brilliant value as are shakespeare’s lite action 13ft (often recommended) and all designed to be silver fish rods from the start. The only other choice is to go back to the precommercial days of the 80’s an buy a top of the range shimano response or daiwa waggler tournament(slightly more backbone than the finesse but not as well balanced imo). Most modern rods are designed to use lines above 0.12 or they cost silly money like the new daiwa tournament. Personally i would just look at the drennan range first and stay away from the rive ultra light, real quality but isn’t a light line job in anyway….Expensive mistake.
