        Hi All

        With all the Codling being caught off the South Coast, has anyone heard of any catches from Slapton or nearby?

          Codling off slapton?? Only cod you’ll find here are in the pub at torcross! They do get caught occasionally but nut a common species off this beach! If you do try it then the monument has the deaper water. Beesands has slighly deaper water especially the pub end. If you looking for cod around here I’d suggest berry head.

            I had a crackeing session last winter for large whiting biggest 3lb 4, with over 40 caught in 3 hours, best fishing I’ve ever had, and that was at the Torcross end fishing tide down then up.
            So with all these codling being caught on Chesil, whether they had made it as far as slapton?
