SPANISH HOLS 2014.

Was in spain in october this year in Salou watching some car rallying, W R C type.

On a non rally day went to CAMBRILS a bit lower down the coast [ 6 km] and did a bit of fishing for two hours in the harbour 5 till 7 ,fishing with some whole 5 inche sardines that were floating in the harbour as the local boats drop them over the side.

For a solid 1 to 2 hour caugth 6 blue fish around the 4 to 6 lbs mark ?

Can recommend it if you get over there .

Beats mullet on bread of the rocks all day long! 😎

If and when any posters go to this area of spain like i have posted cambrils is only a bus ride from salou .
Also if you wish to go for a day to the RIVER EBRO and who don’t, then get to the train station in Salou or nearer and go to Tortosa.

The market in tortosa is on the river , at the back of the food market is a small drain that runs in.

Its full of BIG carp and Barbel yes Big Barbel they look like small sharks about 15 to 20lbs .

The cost of the train was around nine eruo’s return and you should get 4 hour fishing if you get the 10-30 am train, then back for tea about seven . Just GOOGLE – earth- the town /market and have a look ,you may even see one or 2 ! 😀 😮
