        evening chaps anyone know if the spectron m2 pole is off the same mandrel as spectron competition+if the top kits interchange also anyone on here got or used an m2 looking for a bit of comparison feedback ~think

          Don’t think it’s on the same mandrel mate,but sure the top kits fit.
          PM Slippery,he’s got one & will give you an honest opinion.
          Had a go of it myself & it’s a lot different to my old Spectron.Very very light,but becomes a bit bouncy over 13m. imo.

              If this helps, my M2 top kits fit the airity, Ive bought a short 4 from a Airity and that fits as well

                I own one and have to agree, it is very bouncy over 13m, It is truely awesome at under 13, nothing will touch it for lightness. The short 4 makes a massive difference on stiffness, Id reccomend you get one.

                  And the finish on the painted sections is absolutly garnage, very sticky, Im considering flat sanding mine back to see if it helps its that bad!
